Starbucks, is there no end to your genius? Fresh off the heels of opening a pick-up only store and launching about 27 specialty and seasonal drinks, a brand new Frappuccino is hitting menus. Again. Unfortunately for all our American readers, though, this one requires a plane ticket to Japan to try it.

The Japanese branch of the chain, which stocks the classic Starbucks menu you know and love plus specialty drinks you'll only find abroad, revealed on Twitter that its Merry Strawberry Cake Frappuccino launched on Friday, November 1. You might be inspired to down it based on its festive appearance alone, but folks, it sounds absolutely delicious, too.

According to Starbucks Japan's site, you can expect it to taste sort of like a strawberry shortcake. There's a sponge cake crumb, a bright red strawberry sauce, and a sponge cake-flavored base that's all topped with whipped cream and freeze-dried strawberries. A tall will set you back ¥ 590 (about $5.45).

If you're craving something a little warmer for the holiday season, Starbucks Japan also dropped a Merry Strawberry Cake Milk, which surely tastes like an elevated version of Nesquik's classic strawberry milk mix. It's advertised as a "hot beverage with strawberry sauce and sponge cake-flavored milk" and looks to come topped with the same whipped cream and freeze-dried strawberries.

Meanwhile Starbucks here in the good ol' US of A has yet to announce its official holiday menu. Still, per usual, you can find some leaks and hints on Instagram. According to @candyhunting, an Irish Cream Cold Brew will be dropping in the states as early as December 3. Because we could all use something other than pumpkin spice at this point, no?
