Starbucks Just Dropped A Super Chocolatey Cold Foam Nitro Drink
Fall doesn't *officially* begin until September 22, but let's be real here-it's been fall since Starbucks released the PSL. If you've already had enough Pumpkin Spice Lattes and Salted Caramel Mochas to last you until at least November, though, Starbucks introduced a new drink to its menu at the beginning of September that will allow you to change things up a bit.
The Cold Foam Dark Cocoa Nitro is inspired by "dark chocolate stout," according to Starbucks' website. The new beverage takes the "velvety-smooth" Nitro Cold Brew and adds bittersweet cocoa cold foam, which brings out "the coffee's natural chocolate notes."
The Starbucks menu addition is fairly guilt-free, as well. There are 90 calories in a grande, versus 260 calories in a PSL of the same size (and that's with nonfat milk and no whip)!
You can find a Starbucks where the new drink is served by using the Starbucks store locator to find a Nitro location near you-just set the filter to "Nitro Cold Brew."
