It's officially the most wonderful time of the year! Filled with Peppermint Mochas and puffy jackets and Starbucks holiday cups. Yes, you guys, red cup season is back! Except this year, the cups - gasp - aren't red.

For 2017, the chain introduced its first ever holiday color-in cup. The design features a white cup with an illustration of hands holding red cups to honor years past. The doodles are connected with swirling ribbons, with splashes of red and green and illustrations like snowflakes, presents, stars, and hearts.

In a press release, Starbucks creative director Leanne Fremar said, "This year's cup is intentionally designed to encourage our customers to add their own color and illustrations."

The holiday cup sleeves will be a bit different this year, too, with a theme of giving good. "The holidays are a time to celebrate all the good we give to each other and our community," Fremar said.

I'll admit that I was salty at first because red cup season is my favorite season (before rosé season and after PSL season), but the cups are kind of adorable and have a solid message behind them.

The iconic seasonal cups that we've been obsessing over since 1997 officially return on Nov. 1, along with holiday favorites like the Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and Peppermint Mocha. Happy winter!
