  • After bringing back the PSL, Starbucks has released a new wave of merchandise for its 2021 fall collection, which is in stores now.

  • Eagle-eyed shoppers have found a handful of new tumblers, cold cups, travel mugs and reusable coffee cups in stock at Target and some regional café locations.

  • Company materials shared on social media indicate that more Halloween items are coming to stores over the next few weeks, including new glow-in-the-dark cups and more themed merchandise.

Starbucks aficionados have a lot to be excited about this week — everyone's favorite coffee chain has brought back its ever-popular pumpkin spice latte and introduced a brand new apple-flavored macchiato that critics are already buzzing about. But diehard merchandise collectors were likely even more jazzed to see an entirely new line of cold cups, tumblers and mugs drop into select cafés across the nation. The best part? These new items are all wonderfully themed for the upcoming transition into prime coffee season, fall!

Because Starbucks tends to release new seasonal collections in stages, some social users were surprised to see many vibrant colors used in the first few pieces released earlier this week. One such standout is a classic Starbucks studded bling cup in a venti-sized (24oz) dome. The cup is neon hot pink and finished with a soft touch to differentiate it from other studded cups the brand has released this year.

There's also a new boxed set of metallic pearl hot cups available in five different finishes, likely being sold at retail for $24.95. The hues range from a striking lilac to a rich oxblood and will surely be a fabulous way to enjoy a hot cup of coffee as temperatures begin to drop in September.

But many fans are most excited about the core line of new fall merchandise. According to company materials shared via social media, there are more than 25 new items coming to stores through the end of October, with a handful of items sold exclusively at Starbucks cafés nestled in local Target superstores. Some of the merchandise may be delayed depending on where you live; Starbucks collectors have been sharing images indicating that production is delayed, though the chain has yet to confirm this rumor.

Even though they are not exactly Halloween-themed, Starbucks has tapped into a dark color palette for many of its new tumblers and cold cups. One particularly striking venti-sized option is the Baroque-themed cup below (a Target exclusive!), which is double-walled to protect the intricate design. It pairs well with a black stainless steel cold cup that features a leaf motif.

Another favorite is the mottled black tumbler, which we've shared below thanks to eagle-eyed shopper Sarah behind @starbucksnsunshine on Instagram. This striking design is also available as a shorter traditional hot coffee mug, alongside five other new mugs on shelves this season.

It's unclear how much these cups are retailing for just yet, but venti-sized options usually range in price between $18 and $25 depending on the design. Traditional mugs and shorter options, like this neon green grande-sized cold cup below, can sell for less. Plus, if you're able to find a new cup in a corporate retailer, you're able to trade in 400 Starbucks stars for a free item of your choice.

Everyone is wondering when exactly Starbucks will drop more merchandise this season, particularly the highly anticipated release of its Halloween products. Similar to last year's collection, it's rumored that Starbucks will be releasing another glow-in-the-dark cold cup featuring a fantastically spooky spider web motif. We're betting that the new venti-sized cold cup featuring a cartoonish black cat will be among this year's most popular trophies for collectors.

There's a chance that some Starbucks fans will already have access to new Halloween merchandise as soon as this week. Snapshots across platforms suggest that, depending on where you're located, full collections may be in stores already. We'll update this story with new information and details about Starbucks' full Halloween collection as it becomes available.

If you're on the hunt for one of these new items, the best place to start looking would be your local Target cafe — usually, these locations receive new merchandise first. And if all else fails, turn to Facebook Marketplace or sites like Etsy, where a trio of new items is already available for purchase. Happy hunting!
