Starbucks’ Beloved Red Cups Are Officially Back in 4 New Holiday Designs
The holidays can officially start now, because you can sip out of Starbucks’ new red cups! Every year, we get a fresh variety of designs that will ease us into the Christmas season, and this one is no different. Beginning on Thursday, Nov. 7, your hot drink order will come in one of four festive cups.
Last year’s red cups were a bit more simple, so these might be more your vibe. There’s Candy Cane Stripes, a red- and white-striped cup with green letters spelling out “Starbucks”; Merry Stripes, a green cup with “Merry Coffee” written all over it; Polka Dots, a red cup with various shades of green polka-dots; and Merry Dance, a white cup with “Merry Coffee” written all over it in red and green. They’re all super fun and remind us that’s exactly what the holidays should be!
Since we know you’re wondering, yes, your favorite holiday beverages are coming back this year. Also beginning on the Nov. 7, you’ll be able to order Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate, Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and Eggnog Latte.
What good is your favorite festive drink without a festive treat, right? Limited-edition foods and bakery items, including Holiday Turkey & Stuffing Panini, Cranberry Bliss Bar, Sugar Plum Danish, Snowman Cookie, Gingerbread Loaf, Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop, and Snowman Cake Pop are also returning for the 2019 holiday season.
If the red cups, holiday beverages, and holiday foods aren’t enough to get you in the door at Starbucks on Nov. 7, here’s our final effort. For the second year, the coffee giant will be giving away free limited-edition resusable red cups to customers who order a holiday beverage in the United States in Canada, while supplies last. Not only that, but if you bring your reusable red cup with you through Jan. 7, you’ll get $0.50 off your handcrafted grande holiday beverage after 2 p.m.
