Starbucks Is Adding Four New Spicy Drink Items to Menus This Week

Starbucks is spicing up its menu with a selection of new drinks, which hit menus nationwide on April 16. On Tuesday, the venerable coffee chain is debuting brand-new Refreshers along with a new coffee treat, all with a piquant kick.

The Spicy Lemonade Refreshers are made by combining lemonade with a spicy chili powder blend containing paprika, chili powder, ancho chili powder, and cayenne pepper. They come in three exciting flavors: dragon fruit, pineapple, and strawberry.

The Spicy Dragon Fruit Lemonade Refresher comes with pieces of dragon fruit mixed in, as well as undertones of mango. Likewise, the Spicy Pineapple Lemonade Refresher features chunks of pineapple and dashes of passionfruit, while the Spicy Strawberry Lemonade Refresher features strawberry bits and hints of açai.

Starbucks is cooking up a spicy treat for coffee fans as well. Also debuting on April 16 is the chain’s Spicy Cream Cold Foam. Starbucks’ Signature Cold Foam is mixed with the same chili powder blend used in the Refreshers to create a unique flavor sensation you can add to any iced drink.

These latest additions follow closely on the heels of Starbucks adding a few lavender options to its menus. In March, the chain debuted an Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha in addition to an earthy Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte and a sumptuous Lavender Créme Frappuccino. Starbucks also introduced a delectable Lavender Cream Cold Foam to go along with those beverages.
