Season 2 of The Bad Batch ended with the Empire scoring a huge victory over the titular heroes: Young female clone Omega has been taken prisoner and Tech, one of the squad’s members, is presumed dead. Naturally, this paves the way for Season 3’s principal storylines – the crew will have to find out what the Empire wants Omega for exactly, sabotage the project, and rescue her. Star Wars being Star Wars, a redemption arc for Crosshair is basically guaranteed as well.

With returning characters like Captain Rex and Asajj Ventress being involved, The Bad Batch is expected to tighten up a few additional loose ends from The Clone Wars and provide a smooth transition into Rebels.
