Stüssy Hits the Converse Chuck 70 Sneaker With Shaggy Suede in Highlighter Hues

Stüssy’s regular string of Converse collaborations is set to continue with a small Chuck 70 capsule releasing this week.

High- and low-top versions of the sneaker take on a shaggy suede upper in screaming hues intended to invoke the ’90s. The Chuck 70 Hi opts for “Sky Blue” and Stüssy’s embroidered All-Star logo replacing the usual mark. “Poppy Red” then graces the lower-cut Chuck 70 Ox, which features matching marks that also include a special tongue tag and Stüssy logo on the inner tongue and insole. Rounding out both sneakers are a white midsole with black striping and a brown outsole.

Stüssy has tinkered with the Chuck 70 on a number of occasions, including a collaboration that brought Our Legacy into the fold and a hemp pair with pearlized studs last year alone. The two partners most recently used a hairy suede near the end of 2022 for a Chuck 70 Hi and One Star duo featuring the streetwear brand’s signature 8 Ball logo.

The Stüssy x Converse Chuck 70 Hi and Chuck 70 Ox will release this Friday, March 8, through Stüssy’s website and physical stores, as well as the Snkrs app. Pricing for the Chuck 70 Hi is set at $110, while the Chuck 70 Ox asks $100.
