St. Bernard Puppy's Growth Over 4 Months Has People Impressed and Teary-Eyed

Any parent or pet owner will be able to tell you just how emotional it is to think about their baby growing up. Remembering (or even watching videos of) times when they were younger can be especially moving--just ask @thunderpup_'s mom!

This St. Bernard puppy was a tiny baby just a few weeks ago, but now this 6-month-old is nearly 100 pounds. His 'glow up' video has his TikTok fans feeling simultaneously impressed at his size and nostalgic about how fast he's growing. Take a look at this giant dog or yourself!

What a little cutie pie! Well, Thunder is growing up into a big cutie pie now, but it's hard to believe just how little he once was. His ama shared in the comment section that he weighed just 24 pounds in the first video clip! By the last clip, however, he was over 90 pounds. Now he's the size of his human siblings, and he's only 6 months old!

Adult male Saint Bernards can grow to be 140-180 pounds on average, so Thunder has a while to grow. Large dogs can keep growing well past their first birthday, too, so there will be an even longer glow up video to make when this beautiful puppy is all grown up.

For now, we're sure his family is enjoying the playful puppy phase he's in. He's still small enough to jump on his human kid siblings, but he's big enough that he can keep up on family runs and wrestling matches too.

Of course, his TikTok fans love him too! Viewer @rufus.and.ralph had to ask, "how much does Thunder eat per day?" and we'd be lying if we said we weren't curious too. Luckily, his mama answered! He eats 8 cups of food every day, plus a few extra treats of course. That might sound like a lot of food, but that's the kind of nutrition a growing pup needs.
