Spooky sips: Celebrate Halloween with a 3-day pop-up bar at downtown Louisville brewery

It's showtime! For this Halloween-themed pop-up bar, that is.

Just in time for pre-Halloween weekend festivities, Log Still Distillery is teaming up with Against the Grain Brewery for an immersive pop-up bar inspired by the spooky movie, "Beetlejuice."

The brewery's downtown Public House location, 401 E. Main St., will host a three-day takeover dubbed "The Beetle Gin & Juice Pop Up." You can partake in the festivities, which include Beetlejuice-themed cocktails made with Log Still’s Monk’s Road spirits, from 6-10 p.m. Thursday to Saturday.

“We are ready to turn on the juice and see what shakes loose with our Beetlejuice-inspired cocktail and pop-up bar,” Denise Ingle, Log Still’s chief brand officer, said in a press release. “We love spooky season and want to give adults the same feeling of excitement for the holiday as they had growing up."

The event will also feature live music and decorations in the spirit of "Beetlejuice."

A portion of proceeds from the event will go to assist Against the Grain’s beloved bartender, Caroline Elders, as she recovers from a recent car accident, according to the release.
