Spirit Airlines Is Offering a Deal on Flights From $49 for One Day Only
Just in time for Mother's Day, Spirit Airlines is offering a deal with one-way flights starting as low as $49. For one day only, travelers can book trips to popular destinations across the country such as New York, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Denver, and more.
As with any flight sale, the fine print is important to note. Flights must be booked between Friday, May 12, at 10:00 a.m. and Saturday, May 13, at 11:59 p.m. Fares are only valid on trips taken between May 20 and June 27. And while there are no blackout dates, the deal does not apply to travel on Fridays or Sundays.
Spirit is known for being an ultra-low cost airline that offers pared-down ticket prices but charges for add-ons. As such, additional fees including baggage fees, change fees, and advance seat assignment selection fees may also apply.
Still, for $49 to major hubs across the U.S., the deal is even cheaper than what the airline typically advertises. If you're looking to get away before the end of June, this could be an opportunity to do so on the cheap.
