Specialized Welcomes Newest Member To Enduro Team

It has been a very hectic offseason for many racers. As the bike industry hits a rough spot, bike companies are trimming marketing budgets, leaving many racers scrambling to find a sponsor.

American continental racer Jake Green thankfully has landed a ride. Watch his announcement video after signing with Specialized below.

In this video, Green broke in his new race steed on the speedy tracks in Port Gamble, Washington. In addition to railing corners, Jake also went big on the jumps.

Mountain bike brands often have an immersive strategy for sponsoring riders. They want to market both with blue chip World Cuppers as well as more regional riders that potential customers have more access to.

Specialized is one of the biggest brands in the world, so they can have a large continental pro presence in addition to a World Cup Team. Green will join the likes of Cody Kelly, Jake Keller, and Max Sedlak representing the brand at regional races.

Jake Green now lives in Bellingham, Washington, a hotbed of riding. It will be exciting to see how he will do in 2024 on a new ride.
