Specialized Bicycles Featured In New Mark Wahlberg Movie

Biking has made it to the silver screen once again with the imminent release of Mark Wahlberg's new movie, Arthur the King. The film is about an over-the-hill adventure racer who picks up an unlikely racing companion while competing in his last hoorah.

Specialized Bikes was keen to point out that it is no coincidence that viewers will be seeing quite a few of their bikes and gear in the film.

The movie premiers on March 15th and looks like it will be quite the feel-good movie for those canine and bike lovers who want to watch something that'll tug on the old heartstrings.

The movie is based on the true story of Mikael Lindnord, a racer who competed in the Adventure Racing World Championships in Ecuador in 2014. The story goes that he gave a meatball to a stray dog and the rest was history.

After he gave the dog the meatball, he then followed Mikael and his team for the remainder of the race in a harrowing tale of perseverance and determination that led to an Emmy winning documentary, best selling book, and now this movie.

Arthur the dog unfortunately passed away in 2020 shortly before the film was set to begin shooting.
