This SPAM-Themed Pop-Up Restaurant Has An Entire Menu Made With The Canned Meat
Too many people love to hate SPAM. But the canned meat with the semi-gross reputation can actually be pretty spectacular. I mean, have you really even tried it? Because until you've tried spam musabi, you can't really have an opinion on the matter.
If you're willing to give it a chance, or if you're a major fan of SPAM, we've got news. Coming to Hollywood, California is MUSABI MADNESS, a pop-up restaurant celebrating the versatility of the iconic and polarizing brand. Here's what you can expect:
A build-your-own musabi bar featuring global variations like Chili Verde Musabi, Filipino Lumpia Musabi, and American Burger Musabi, Korean Fried Rice Musabi, and Spring Roll Musabi
A SPAM and shrimp corn dog served with banana ketchup
A SPAM-Infused Soft Serve Sundae that comes with topping options like furikake, teriyaki caramel, and vanilla-braised pineapples
A SPAM-Themed Tiki Cocktail made with rum, pineapple, Cara Cara oranges, and coconut creme and served over crushed ice
The spamtastic FREE event is brought to you by Foodbeast and can only be experienced on September 7, 14, and 21 2019 (the first three Saturdays of the month). It's all going down at LONO, a tiki bar located in the heart of Hollywood. David Lespron, LONO's very own executive chef, dreamt up the corn dog, sundae, and cocktail himself.
