Princess Leonor is taking style cues from her mother, Queen Letizia—quite literally.

During a solo outing Red Cross Spanish headquarters in Madrid, she borrowed a Carolina Herrara blazer and gold bamboo earrings from her mother's closet. She paired the jacket with a red Hugo Boss turtleneck, and black leather flats.

During the outing, 17-year-old Princess Leonor met with volunteers from Red Cross programs across Spain.

Just as Princess Leonor has borrowed from Queen Letizia's closet, Letizia, too, has borrowed from her daughters. In September, Letizia wore a white & Other Stories blouse that her daughter Leonor wore earlier in the year:

In July, also, Letizia wore a Dándara patterned shirtdress that Leonor had worn a month earlier:

While Princess Leonor is away at college—she is currently a student at UWC Atlantic, a boarding school in Wales—we have to imagine the royal mother-daughter duo can't share clothes as easily. Now, however, that Leonor is home in Madrid for the holidays, she can combine her wardrobe with her mother and her younger sister, Princess Sofia of Spain.

Earlier this week, the Spanish royals released their Christmas card, which featured the two princesses in Zara sweaters in a photograph taken in Zarzuela Palace's gardens earlier this year.

Leonor, Princess of Asturias, is the heir presumptive to the Spanish throne. When she inherits the throne, she will become the first Queen Regent of Spain since Queen Isabella II in the 19th century.
