Southwest Airlines is promoting early morning and late night flights with a sale that has big savings on travel before 8 a.m. and after 7 p.m.

The sale, which must be booked by 11:59 p.m. PT on Thursday, Oct. 19, has flights starting at just $29 on travel across the country, according to the airline. The sale is valid for travel from Nov. 7 through March 6, 2024.

The sale is not available during several blackout dates from Nov. 17 to Nov. 22, from Nov. 25 to Nov. 27, from Dec. 21 to Dec. 23, from Dec. 26 to Dec. 30, on Jan. 1, 2024, on Jan. 2, on Feb. 16, and on Feb. 19. Travel is also blacked out to Orange County from Nov. 17 to Jan. 2, 2024.

The sale is nonrefundable and travel may also not be available on Fridays and Sundays.

For just $29, travelers can fly one-way from Atlanta to Nashville, from Austin to Houston, from Baltimore to Norfolk, VA, from Chicago to Cincinnati, from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, and more. Travelers can also fly cross-country from New York City to Fresno, CA, starting at just $135, or to Denver from the Big Apple starting at just $104.

Plan a ski getaway with one-way flights to Salt Lake City starting at just $119 from Chicago, $94 from Dallas, and $139 from Washington D.C.

The sale targets early morning flights, which are often one of the best times of the day to fly since flights departing in the morning are less likely to be delayed.

Flying with Southwest is also about to get better for loyal customers thanks to the airline’s plan to make it easier to earn status in 2024. The carrier is also adding new perks for customers who already hold A-List Preferred status with the airline, offering them up to two complimentary premium drinks per flight added directly to their mobile boarding passes starting Nov. 6.

Additionally, the airline is making it easier to earn a popular Companion Pass for a limited time by giving registered travelers who fly by Nov. 30 double Companion Pass qualifying points on those flights.
