Southern West Virginia Home Builders Association hosts annual conference

BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) – As the days get warmer, you might be thinking about some home improvement projects.

That was certainly on people’s minds at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center, where the Southern West Virginia Home Builders Association held its annual conference this weekend. The two-day event was held at the Convention Center, where vendors set up booths to showcase their goods and services. The HBA is a professional organization for contractors and building material supply companies to come network as well as work together on advocate on legislation.

$150 million approved for new school renovations in 18 counties

Jason Reger,President of the Southern West Virginia Home Builders Association says the event is about connecting people:

“This is our annual home show. We do this once every year. It gives a chance for some vendors, suppliers, as well as contractors and installers come out and kind of display what they’re able to offer, what services are able to provide. And anybody who’s looking to do updates, remodels, new construction, anything, repairs to their homes, there’s something here that they can find information on.”
