A Southern Kentucky Derby Themed Wedding in a Polo Barn
In a sea of bright sunshine, pretty blooms, and lush Kentucky pastures, Emily and Jon celebrated their nupitals with close friends and family. Bride Emily got ready at her family farm, Winstar Farm, which actually produced Justify, this year's Triple Crown Winner! I'm from the area so I am TOTALLY fan-girling right now... how cool! Their cheerful and sweet Southern wedding included the prettiest outdoor ceremony and we're drooling over the photos by Jeff & Michele Photo!
From Jeff & Michele Photo... Jon & Emily are free-spirited, relaxed, friendly, and a couple that embodies adorable. Emily is truly elegant and gracious. John is confident, yet subtle. Their love is filled with smiles and a very natural and endearing glow.
Emily's getting ready was held at a historic house on their family-owned Winstar Farms, known most recently for producing the 2018 Triple Crown winner, Justify. Overflowing with lush greenery and flowers, their Lexington Kentucky wedding was nothing less than dreamy.
Having grown up around horses and horse racing, Emily incorporated aspects of that into her wedding day, while also including elegant decor that helped their traveling guests experience a taste of both the horse culture as well as a taste of Kentucky class.. The Polo Barn at Saxony Farm provided an excellent equestrian setting for her Lexington, Ky Summer Wedding.
