Southern California McDonald’s restaurants slashing drink prices for the summer
McDonald’s restaurants across Southern California will be slashing prices on all frozen and fountain drinks this summer.
Now through Sept. 2, customers at participating restaurants can purchase any size soft drink or frozen carbonated drink for $1.49.

Fountain drinks include the full line of Coca-Cola products, and frozen drinks include Frozen Fanta Blue Raspberry, Frozen Coca Cola Classic and Frozen Hawaiian Punch. Frozen coffee drinks from the McCafé menu are not included.

The discounted drinks are a welcome return for McDonald’s fans who had to bid farewell to the fast food chain’s $1 sodas of any size, which were phased out in recent years due to rising costs.
In addition to the drink discounts, McDonald’s is also releasing a new McCrispy, the fast food giant’s fried chicken sandwich entrée.
Beginning April 22, consumers can try the new Bacon Cajun Ranch McCrispy for a limited time at participating restaurants.
The sandwich features “bold, creamy, and spicy Cajun ranch sauce,” McDonald’s says and is finished with apple wood-smoke bacon and crinkle cut pickles and served on a toasted potato roll.
