Apr. 18—Celebrate the culture of the South Valley at the annual South Valley Pride Day.

"Save the date and let's come together to create lasting memories and celebrate the heart and soul of our beautiful South Valley community," said District 2 Commissioner Steven Michael Quezada in a statement.

The event will feature live music, dancing, a car show, artisan vendors and a children's play area, according to a news release.

The South Valley Pride Day will take place 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 28 and include a parade and fiesta activities.

The parade route starts at Isleta and Blake SW and proceeds north on Isleta, ending at the Westside Community Center at 1250 Isleta SW.
