Johnson has played eight NBA seasons, including the past three with the Clippers. He averaged 5.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and one steal in 74 games last season.
Johnson, a 6-foot-7 defensive and shooting wing, was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft. He has played for Minnesota, Phoenix and both Los Angeles teams.
The Clippers also face player-option decisions from guards Austin Rivers and Milos Teodosic.
