Sources Are Divided Over Whether Bella Hadid and The Weeknd Are Dating Again
Bella Hadid and The Weeknd are back on. Or are they? The model and singer recently celebrated her birthday in New York this week along with Hadid’s family, Yolanda Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Anwar Hadid, and Anwar’s girlfriend, Dua Lipa. According to E! News the former couple left the party together and headed back to her apartment.
“Abel met up with Bella last night for her third birthday celebration at L'Avenue. He was with her the entire night and they left together to go back to the apartment they both shared,” the source said. “You could tell that they were definitely in love and they both looked very happy being around each other.”
TMZ reported that the two are not back together, but just “good friends.”
Hadid and The Weeknd have been on-and-off for years, but most recently split in August due to distance and their busy schedules.
“There was no love lost between the two Abel just had a few things he needed to work on and his focus was elsewhere,” E!’s source added. “They are in a better place right now but are trying to keep things on the down low. They both want to be more private about it this time around.”
E! Also reported that while the two may have been acting like a couple during Hadid’s party, he only attended as a friend. Time will tell where the two are really headed.
