A Source Is Answering All Your Questions on Pete Davidson and Madelyn Cline
As you may or may not have heard, Pete Davidson is dating Outer Banks star Madelyn Cline. This news broke on Friday when we were all coming down from multiple Sophie Turner + Taylor Swift outings (the internet was...distracted!), but now a source is out here chatting to Us Weekly, and they have! some things! to say!
First, a brief timeline: per the source, “Madelyn and Pete have been dating for several weeks but have grown close fairly quickly." Understandably, the pair “wanted to keep things under wraps” and "assumed there would be a whole frenzy surrounding their relationship.”
While Pete is used to high profile relationships thanks to dating the likes of Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande, Madelyn is much more private—and wanted to keep their relationship out of the public eye for as long as they could.
“[Madelyn and Pete] had hoped to remain low-key for a while, especially because Madelyn is a really private person,” the source explained. “But they’ve spent a lot of time together and have built a strong bond in a short period of time.”
This includes spending time with each other's friends and family. The insider says that “Pete loves Madelyn’s dry sense of humor which he thinks is adorable because he’s the same way. They’re thankful they have a loyal group of close friends because they’ve hung out with several people at a number of events and nobody has leaked their romance.”
Meanwhile, “Pete’s sister is thrilled to see him so happy and she definitely approves of this relationship."
