I'm no accountant, but Anker’s SoundCore Spirit Pro wireless earbuds are honestly more affordable than they should be.

Priced at less than $50, they offer a blend of design, craftsmanship, and performance that’s unrivaled at this price point. Believe it or not, there are plenty of high-quality wireless earbuds to pick from for $100 or less, making Anker’s reasonably priced offering even more noteworthy.

Here are five reasons why you need to have the Spirit Pro on your radar.

They're Impeccably Designed

The Spirit Pro, with their all-metal earbud casings, look like they belong in a higher price point. You'll feel even better about choosing them when you see the wireless earbuds, well ... in the metal. There are three colors to pick from: black, blue, and red (which is particularly attention-commanding).

They're Comfy

The ergonomics of the Sprit Pro earbuds are impeccable for earbuds this affordable. The lightweight earbuds come bundled with a rich selection of ear tips and ear hooks, so you can find the perfect fit.

Dubbed EarWings by Anker, the aforementioned ear hooks are essential add-ons if you plan to use the Spirit Pro for workouts — they make it pretty much impossible for them to accidentally fall off. When not in use, you can magnetically snap the earbuds together.

They're Durable

The Spirit Pro wireless earbuds have an IP68 rating for water resistance — an impressive and welcome feature for a product this affordable. Anker has ensured that you won’t even have to worry about covering the charging connector of the earbuds.

In addition to being able to survive exposure to water, the Spirit Pro wireless earbuds can also effortlessly handle your sweaty workouts. Thanks to a clever, submarine-inspired construction, the Spirit Pro earbuds will not suffer damage from sweat and other liquids.

They Deliver Entertaining Sound

The audio quality of the SoundCore Spirit Pro is good for a product in this price range — just manage your expectations accordingly. The sound is relatively well-balanced, as long as you're not obsessed with hearing the most intricate details of your favorite tunes. Unsurprisingly, the earbuds hide some of their sonic deficiencies behind an entertainingly assertive bass delivery.

Speaking of bass, the Spirit Pro earbuds allow you to enhance it even further with the press of a button. The feature can come handy if you are looking for extra motivation during your workouts. I also found it entertaining for gaming, as well as for watching video content on the go.

The earbuds maintained a robust connection with an iPhone when I tested them. Their sound quality during phone calls is also solid.

They Have an Excellent Battery Life

You can expect up to 10 hours of wireless audio playback from the SoundCore Spirit Pro between battery charges. That’s an excellent feat, especially considering the headset’s sub-$50 price tag. During my testing, I was pleased to discover that the earbuds deliver on their manufacturer’s claims.

I wish that the earbuds had a USB-C connector for charging instead of a microUSB one. But, considering what Anker is charging for them, I don’t find its omission to be a deal-breaker.

Wrap-Up

The Spirit Pro earbuds are surely affordable, but they don’t look or feel cheap. Unless you are a detail-obsessed, highly discerning audiophile, you will not feel that you are making any compromises when you pick them. I reckon that most consumers will be perfectly satisfied with their audio performance.
