SoulCycle Introduces Retreats for Avid Riders| Travel + Leisure

If the only thing missing from your vacations is your favorite SoulCycle instructor, you can now travel with them.

The fitness studio announced the launch of its new “retreats” program this week, making it possible for fans of the exercise chain to take their passion for the bike off the road.

Entitled Retreats by SoulCycle, the trips are organized in partnership with the luxury travel company Black Tomato.

The getaways were designed to “combine fitness and wellness, but also revolve around a wider idea of luxury wellness to include wellbeing workshops and luxury experiences to ensure guests came away with a feeling of community and growth,” a spokesperson for Black Tomato told Fortune.

The retreats take a lead from the SoulCycle classes themselves, with physical, musical, emotional and community-based activities. The first “pilot” trip was held in Texas Hill Country at the Lucky Arrow Retreat.

The four-day getaway at the hotel included mindful meditations, healing workshops and, of course, what brought everyone there: SoulCycle classes. But not all of the activities were exercise-focused. At one point, the group gathered around the bonfire for a s’mores making session or went to the hotel’s lookout point for stargazing.

Each retreat will be four days long and welcome anywhere from 20 to 30 guests.

Details about upcoming retreats have not yet been released. However, the SoulCycle-obsessed should expect details and dates for an upcoming retreat in the winter of 2020. The cost for each retreat will depend on the location where it’s held.

Those who can't contain their excitement should sign up on the Retreats by SoulCycle site to be notified when more information is released.
