No, Meghan Markle Won't Appear on BFF Jessica Mulroney's New Reality Show

Following Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's decision to step down from the royal family, many speculated that the former Suits star would return to acting as a way for the couple to claim their own financial independence. But, for now, those rumors remain as — well, rumors.

On Saturday, Page Six claimed that Meghan's first project after her royal exit would be a guest-starring role on her BFF Jessica Mulroney's new reality show about second weddings, titled I Do, Redo. However, a palace source quickly shut down the report, calling it "categorically untrue."

The Netflix series, which will premiere later this year, follows Mulroney (a wedding stylist) as she helps 10 couples correct their first-time wedding disasters.

“When I believe in something, I go after it at full speed, and I’m blessed to be able to create a show that truly inspires me,” the Canadian stylist said in a press release. “We are aiming to make a significant difference in the lives of our chosen couples whose first weddings did not go as planned due to tragic circumstances. This is a side of the wedding industry that has never been shown on television before.”

The reality TV rumors came just days after it was reported that Meghan was "actively looking for representation" for future gigs. "It can be a manager or an agent, but she’s reaching out to people to find someone to represent her for future professional projects," a source told Us Weekly.

While there's nothing in the pipeline just yet — perhaps their planned summertime escape to Los Angeles will be more business than pleasure.
