Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Memorialized Their Dog Waldo Picasso With Matching Tattoos

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have found a way to pay eternal tribute to their dog, Waldo Picasso. Nearly one week after the dog was reportedly struck and killed by a car, the couple unveiled matching tattoos that memorialize the Alaskan Klee Kai.

On Monday, July 29, Joe shared an Instagram image of his new Waldo Picasso tattoo, People pointed out. "R.I.P. my little angel," he wrote of the photo. Sophie shared a similar image of her tattoo via Instagram Story, and wrote, "I miss you, Waldo. Rest in peace my little baby."

As previously reported by TMZ, a rep for Joe had called the incident a "freak accident," and noted that Waldo was out for a walk when the accident occurred. The dog had reportedly gotten "spooked" and and then broke out of his leash before running into the street. Prior to Monday's tattoo unveiling, Joe and Sophie had not yet publicly commented on the loss.

Waldo was the couple's second dog; he joined Porky Basquiat, a husky puppy adopted by the two in 2017. Waldo had been given his own Instagram page, and since the accident, followers and friends of the stars have left comments regarding the loss.

The unveiling of Joe's tattoo was also met with support from social media. Kevin and Nick Jonas left a heart and praying hands emojis, while fans responded with words of love and encouragement.

This tattoo is the latest in a series of matching ink shared by the couple. Along with a newly added portrait of Waldo, Joe and Sophie share a red-headed woman tattoo and previously got similar ink tributes to their grandfathers.
