Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Match in Party Hats for Joe’s 30th

Joe Jonas is officially 30 and his wife Sophie Turner was there to help welcome him into his 30s. The couple were photographed in New York leaving Sarabeth’s on Friday in matching metallic party hats. Turner wore a light blue blouse and a pair of white Alo bike shorts while Jonas opted for khaki pants and a Martine Rose T-shirt.

Their party hat lunch date wasn’t the only way they celebrated, though. Turner surprised her husband during one of his Jonas Brothers tour dates in Washington D.C., bringing out a cake for him in the middle of the show. Jonas’s brothers led a stadium full of fans to sing “Happy Birthday” before he blew out a single candle on the cake.

The couple has been busy this summer dealing with both highs and lows. They had their second wedding ceremony at a chateau in the south of France before taking off to the Maldives for a romantic honeymoon. Shortly after their vacation, however, one of their Alaskan Klee Kais, Waldo, was hit by a car during an evening walk and died. Jonas and Turner reportedly had to go to therapy to cope with the loss.

Earlier this month, however, Turner was photographed on vacation in Miami with her husband, along with Nick Jonas and his wife Priyanka Chopra, cuddling a new puppy. It’s unclear if the dog is a new addition to the Jonas-Turner household, but the couple appears to be bouncing back for the end of summer.
