Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas lost a member of their family last Wednesday when one of their dogs, Waldo, was killed in what their rep described as a "freak accident." According to TMZ, Waldo got "spooked by a pedestrian, broke free, ran into the street and was struck by a vehicle." Turner and Jonas broke their silence on the matter this late afternoon, both sharing a photo of the matching tattoos they got of Waldo to pay tribute to their little canine.

"I miss you, Waldo," Turner wrote on her Instagram Story. "Rest in peace, my little baby."

"R.I.P., my little angel," Jonas wrote on his Instagram post showing his own version of that tattoo.

Turner and Jonas reported the accident to the police on Friday, TMZ reported. They were so distraught over the matter that the outlet reported they went to see a therapist. The couple got Waldo in April 2018 and also have a second dog, Waldo's brother Porky. The two were seen walking Porky over the weekend.

In December 2018, Jonas spoke to Today about how the couple came to adopt the two Alaskan Klee Kai puppies. “We got Porky and it was kind of a mistake because the name came from her wanting a Pomsky," Jonas said. And I misheard what she said, so I thought she was saying that's the name of the dog she wanted."

The dogs help him stay relaxed, he added. “I'm usually on the move quite a bit, even when I'm home, I wanna be doing a lot of stuff. But, it's nice when you have a dog where you know you gotta take 'em for a walk, you gotta spend some time and play with 'em, and it keeps you nice and relaxed.”
