Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas came ready to make an impression at the Met Gala this year. The couple just arrived at the New York City museum to make their red carpet debut as a newly-married couple. The couple matched in geometric ensembles. Turner was in a jumpsuit and Jonas was in a top and pants. This is their first time posing on the Met Gala red carpet together, period.

Jonas and Turner did go to the 2017 Met Gala after party together. But they posed separately on the carpet. 2017 was the last time either Turner or Jonas went.

Turner made her Met Gala debut in 2015 with Jourdan Dunn and James Bay. She wore a silver gown to that ceremony:

Turner and Jonas's Met Gala appearance comes fresh off their date last week at the Billboard Music Awards, hours before they got married in a Las Vegas chapel. Jonas was performing there with his brothers. (Nick Jonas, by the way, is a co-chair of tonight's Met Gala, along with his wife Priyanka Chopra.)

At the Billboard Music Awards, Turner wore a Louis Vuitton jumpsuit and Jonas wore blue plaid suit.

Turner and Jonas's last big date before their two May red carpets was the New York City Game of Thrones final season premiere. Turner was in a black Louis Vuitton mini dress there, and Jonas matched her in a grey and black suit.

Jonas knows the end of Game of Thrones, Turner revealed in interviews ahead of the show's final season premiere. And he had to sign an NDA because of it, Turner said on Good Morning America. He literally was on set, watching major scenes get shot. “He’s terrible [at keeping secrets],” she did add. “So I don’t know how that one’s going to work out. Yeah, you can give him a call. He’ll probably tell you everything.”
