Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris Are Reportedly Dating

They’ve been friends for years and went on their first date a few weeks ago.

There's no question that 2023 has been the year of divorce, convincing us that love is dead. But thanks to Traylor, and now, an apparent romance between Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris, maybe there is hope for love after all.

According to People, the actress and retired two-time champion soccer player are smitten with one another following their recent breakups. "After being friends for years and running in the same social circles, Sophia and Ashlyn went out on their first dinner date a couple of weeks ago,” a source told the publication, adding that “this is so recent, and they are both beginning new chapters.”

Back in August, Bush and her husband, Grant Hughes, called it quits after 13 months of marriage, while Harris separated from her wife and fellow soccer teammate, Ali Krieger (they share two kids) in September.

"Although it’s new information to the public, Ashlyn and Ali’s divorce began months ago, and they have been living apart since the summer,” the source shared.

As for the budding new romance, the source feels "there is no salacious story” despite what "the public may want there to be."

In August, a source exclusively told People that “Sophia and Grant were friends for 10 years and bonded during COVID through their love of community service. They continue to run their nonprofit together and remain good friends.”
