Soothe Heartbreak With Free Dumplings From P.F. Chang’s This Month

The month of love isn’t always the celebration of joy and heart-shaped desserts that we’d like it to be. (Let it be known, however, that Chocolate-Raspberry Cheesecake tastes just as delicious when you make it for yourself.) According to popular dating app Bumble, nearly 1 in 5 people have experienced a breakup around Valentine’s Day, and many others find themselves relationally stressed amid Cupid’s arrows. If you (or someone you love) are feeling a bit heartbroken this month, turn those tears around with free comfort food from P.F. Chang’s.

The popular restaurant chain—which has roots in Chinese cuisine but honors cultures and recipes from Japan, Korea, Thailand, and beyond—has just announced a new “DUMPlings” promotion to treat fans in need of some self-love.

Throughout the month, newly single folks can share their breakup story or send a screenshot of their breakup text to 855-697-6181 along with the code CHANGSDUMPLINGS. (Leave out personal details like full names, photos, and addresses, please!) In reply, texters will receive one free six-count of handmade pork or shrimp dumplings at P.F. Chang’s that can be redeemed in the restaurant (excluding Valentine’s Day, we’re sad to say) or online through the restaurant’s website or mobile app. Guests can choose between pan-fried or steamed dumplings with a light drizzle of chili sauce.

We wanted to launch a fun, light-hearted program that reminds those finding themselves single, during a month that shines a spotlight on couples, that breakups may suck, but at least our dumplings don’t.”
