Sony Reveals Lineup of Games Available on Forthcoming PlayStation Plus Service

Ahead of launching its PlayStation Plus subscription service, Sony has detailed some of the games that will be included in the catalog. Spanning hundreds of titles, the list is made up of games coming out of PlayStation Studios and those from third-party partners.

From its own studios, PlayStation is offering titles such as Demon’s Souls, Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut and God of War. It also has several installments from a few franchises, including Spider-Man, Uncharted, The Last of Us and more.

Alongside those games, players can try out Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Batman: Arkham Knight, NBA 2K22, Resident Evil and more from the service’s third-party studio partners.

The service is broken down into three different benefit plans: PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Premium. Those who opt for Premium will also have access to a lineup of popular classic games, a few of which have been improved with modern technology for improved frame rates and better resolution. Some of these remastered classics are Ape Escape, Tekken 2 and Mr. Driller.

In addition, Premium subscribers will be able to take part in time-limited game trials for new titles, as well as stream and play certain PS3 games on PS4, PS5 and PC. These PS3 games will be offered in their original, non-remastered form.

PlayStation Plus launches in Asia on May 24, Japan on June 2, North and South America on June 13 and finally Europe, Australia and New Zealand on June 23.
