Sonja Larsen to hold printmaking workshop at Watermark
May 5—BEMIDJI — Exhibiting artist Sonja Larsen will host an exhibit tour and printmaking workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, at
Watermark Art Center,
505 Bemidji Ave. N.
Larsen will begin by giving a tour of her current exhibit in Watermark's Lakeview Gallery titled, "Creating Art from Nature."
Following the tour, Larsen will give a printmaking demonstration featuring her knowledge of making nature prints from local plants. During the workshop, she will guide participants in creating their very own leaf prints.
The event is free and all ages are welcome, a release said.
Watermark galleries are free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
