SONIC Is Now Serving Bursting Bubbles for a Sweet Element to Every Drink or Slush
SONIC Drive-In is making its refreshing summer sips even better this year, because it has new Bursting Bubbles that will transform your drink. You have the option of four drinks that include the new bursts, and each one is as fruity as the next.
The cool thing here is that you can add the Bursting Bubbles to any drink or slush. However, SONIC has featured drinks that include them, so you have a jumping off point — plus, they sound delicious. There’s the Blue Burst, Cherry Burst, Blue Burst Slush, and Cherry Burst Slush, which all offer something different.

This new offering might remind you of bubble tea, the drink with a tea base that’s blended with milk, fruit, and fruit juices with chewy tapioca pearls as the bottom. The SONIC Bursting Bubbles are different, however, and are simply described as providing “sweet bursts.” You’ll be able to order them for a limited time from May 31 to Aug. 1, a PR rep confirmed to Best Products.
Last summer, Dunkin’ announced that it was testing out popping bubbles, which have a similar concept. The strawberry flavor certainly had us excited, but we haven’t heard an update since. Well, it looks like SONIC will be filling that void.
