Someone Painted Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's First Kiss on Their Lips, and It's Incredible

Um, wow.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's first kiss at the royal wedding on Saturday was nothing short of magical. So magical, in fact, that it's been nearly impossible to scroll through Instagram in the past 48 hours without seeing some GIF/video/photo of history being made ("American commoner marries British Prince," etc.). One makeup artist apparently got sick of having to turn to her cellphone to re-watch the kiss, though, so she decided to re-create the moment via lip art.

Makeup artist Jazmina Daniel painted the duke and duchess of Sussex's first kiss on her lips using different-colored lipsticks and liners. The design was painstakingly detailed, and included everything from the floral archway to Duchess Meghan's sprig of myrtle to Prince Harry's (mildly controversial) scruffy beard.

The artist is known for her lip masterpieces, which often feature moments from pop culture. Beyoncé's Coachella performance and Cardi B have both made it into her designs in the past. Over the weekend, she asked her followers for suggestions on what she should paint next, and amid peak royal-wedding mania, it seems the answer was obvious.

This glam was quite different from Meghan Markle's own wedding makeup, which was understated and neutral with dewy skin and a matte pink lip. For anyone looking to attempt the kiss-meets-lips re-creation on their own (which, good luck!), Jazmina revealed that she used products from Coloured Raine, Jeffree Star Cosmetics, Too Faced, Covergirl, and Urban Decay.

The kiss may be the only scene from the royal wedding that has been turned into lip art, but that doesn't mean there weren't plenty of other meme-worthy moments that went down on Saturday, from Amal Clooney's Curious George–esque outfit to the overly excited pageboy (who was basically all of us watching the wedding from our own couches). Now, if we could have those commemorated in artfully drawn lipstick shades, it would be greatly appreciated.
