Someone Literally Attacked Ariana Grande With a Lemon During Her Coachella Set

• Last night, Ariana Grande performed during Weekend 2 of Coachella.

• Somebody also threw a lemon right at her for unknown reasons.

Before everyone started investigating whether or not Justin Bieber was indeed lip syncing during Ariana Grande's Coachella set, Ari had to recover from being attacked by a literal flying lemon. And no, you're not being Punk'd in 2019.

During her performance, Ariana was dancing on over to a chair in the center of a stage when a lemon hit her in the chest and bounced down to the ground before rolling toward the audience.

Please don't even start drawing connections between Beyoncé's Lemonade album and thinking she'd do this after those now-debunked reports of Ari earning more for her Coachella performance went swirling last week. Queen Bey would never, mmkay? Anyway, back to this sour situation.

The pelting was captured on video and so was Ariana's reaction, which was downright savage. Here's the moment it happened:

And here's Ari saying, "That’s ’cause one of y’all threw a lemon at me! Sh*t.”

This could just be a rogue flying lemon, but the way that it hit Ariana right as she was crossing the stage felt super targeted and extremely uncalled for!

It should go without saying that you shouldn't throw anything at an artist who is performing, but that goes triple in the case of someone like Ariana, who survived the Manchester bombing at her own concert in 2017 and recently shared scans of the PTSD levels in her brain.

But the biggest gag of all is that the culprit went to the grocery store, spent, like, 38 cents of their own money on a lemon and probably wasted their whole day waiting to get a good spot to throw said produce during Ari's set. Get better hobbies, guys!
