Someone Built A Working Sushi Restaurant Out Of Legos And It's Insane

It may be the best use of Legos since The Lego Movie.

A Japanese artist known as Dr. Pei is blowing our minds with a video of his crazy Lego sushi restaurant that was featured by Eater. The miniature eatery is not only cute AF, but it actually works! The restaurant comes equipped with a functioning conveyor belt to transport little sushi pieces and meet the needs of its plastic, but v. hungry customers.

Aside from your regular sushi-loving Legos, the clientele at this restaurant includes aliens, an army of what appears to be Mongolian soldiers, and a film crew capturing all the action. Oh, and BB-8, the droid from Star Wars makes a cameo too cause obviously raw fish is a droid's food of choice.

Of course, the restaurant is fully staffed with knife (and uh, samurai sword) wielding cooks ready to serve up some rolls and a full waitstaff.

The ambiance is enhanced with some Lego flowers and an aquarium, because nothing makes you feel great about eating sushi quite like watching some live fish swim around.

And just in case these Legos really need to use the loo, Dr. Pei included a little Lego bathroom. It really is all in the details.

Check out all the action for yourself:

It's probably best to leave the sushi making to the Lego pros, but if all this sushi talk has you craving some delish Asian noms, we've got you covered.
