Solo Stove Surround Extend Enhances the Fire Pit Experience

If you're a Solo Stove enthusiast but struggle to make it practical for gatherings with friends and family, this is for you. Solo Stove launched the Surround Extend ($399.99) to create additional tabletop space around any of Solo Stove's fire pits already outfitted with the surround.

The Extend turns Fire Pits into a square tabletop—and it'll comfortably seat four to eight guests. Think of it as a small outdoor dining table, a card table, or a coffee table. By extending the safe space on your Solo Stove, you'll put an end to the commonly overheard "Where can I put my beer," "There's no room for appetizers," and "S*it, my whiskey is warm."

Use the Surround Extend to maximize your outdoor space. It integrates seamlessly around your existing Solo Stove and the narrower Solo Stove Surround ledge, elevating the fire pit while providing more tabletop space for chilled drinks, delightful snacks, and classic s'mores.

Will my beverages get warm when I'm using the Surround Extend?

The extension creates a wider distance between the tabletop fire pit and any items you have placed on the surround. Like the Surround, its heat-resistant barrier helps reduce heat conduction into your food and drinks on the surface. You'll be close enough to enjoy the warmth of the smokeless flame, but not so close that your beer boils.

Do I still need the Fire Pit Stand if I'm using Surround Extend?

No—the Surround Extend hoists the Solo Stove off the ground, eliminating the need for the Fire Pit Stand.

Does Solo Stove have a smaller tabletop firepit?

Indeed! The Cinder Indoor Tabletop Bowl ($49.99) launched in December 2023. This pint-sized fire pit runs using a non-toxic, smokeless gel fuel source. This fuel type creates a clean-burning flame and a warm ambiance to design the perfect gathering point to roast marshmallows. Use it on your picnic table as an alternative to the Surround Extend and Solo Stove outdoors, or indoors on your dining table or kitchen island.
