Is the Mesa Torch smokeless like the Solo Stove?

Unlike the Solo Stove, the torches do produce a small amount of smoke due to the fuel being used to ignite the flame. The product produces a majestic flame, but it can also leave a soot residue on the metal components while burning.

How long will the torch burn?

The 21 fl oz canister allows for ~5 hours of burn time. The weather and other factors can affect whether it burns longer or shorter.

Will it keep mosquitos away?

Yes—in fact, the recommended Mesa Torch fuel is citronella-scented. Citronella products including citronella fuel have mosquito-repelling properties.

Can a torch be used during windy weather?
