Solo Leveling Jin-woo

Solo Leveling could very well be the next big anime, with fans already excited for the upcoming action fantasy series. It did spectacularly well as a manhwa – a Korean graphic novel – with over 2 million readers in Korea since its inception in 2016.

The anime adaptation, produced by The Seven Deadly Sins and Black Butler studio A-1 Pictures, is set to premiere this weekend on Crunchyroll, with episodes being released weekly after that alongside the Japanese release on Tokyo MX. But when, exactly, will Solo Leveling release on Crunchyroll? That’s what we’re here to answer.

Solo Leveling Release Times

Solo Leveling will air late at night on January 6, 2024 in Japan, at midnight, just as the clock ticks over into January 7. Crunchyroll didn't give us exact times for the release right away, but has since provided GLHF with the times — Solo Leveling will be available on Crunchyroll a few hours after the Japanese airing. That means that it will be early in the morning in the US, which should mean most fans will be able to watch it soon after they wake up.

Solo Leveling will be released on Crunchyroll at 9:30am on January 6, 2024 in PT.

Here’s what that means for your time zone:

  • PT: 9:30am

  • ET: 12:30pm

  • GMT: 5:30pm

  • CET: 6:30pm

  • IST: 11:00pm

  • AEDT: 4:30am (January 7)

  • NZDT: 6:30am (January 7)

Solo Leveling: What To Expect

Solo Leveling tells the story of Sung Jin-woo, a very weak monster hunter in a world that’s constantly on the verge of invasion from the monster world. Jin-Woo is considered the weakest hunter ever known, but after tragedy strikes he gets the rare opportunity to level up and rise through the ranks — something that’s normally impossible.

We were lucky enough to get an early screening of the first two episodes, and we should warn you: it’s very gory. Solo Leveling does not pull its punches when it comes to violence, so if you’re squeamish, you should probably avoid it.
