The 49-year-old actress attempted to ride an inflatable bull in a pool, showing both her humor and epic physical strength.
Sofia Vergara has super strong legs that she put to good use in a hilarious Instagram video of her riding an inflatable bull in celebration of the Fourth of July. Sofia rocks a white one-piece with side cutouts giving followers a glimpse of her washboard abs and long, sculpted legs.
The best thing about the Fourth? Could it be the yummy barbecue meals or the wholesome family festivities? For me, it's 100 percent watching Sofia try (and fail) to ride an inflatable bull in her pool. Her toned legs are no match for this angry bull who floats peacefully above the water's surface, as she struggles to maintain her center of gravity. But hey, that takes some major core strength and by the looks of Sofia's cutout swimsuit, she's far from lacking in that category.

"No bueno," the 49-year-old star says a couple falls later, and I just can't help but giggle. Fans of Sofia appreciate her sense of humor while acknowledging her athletic figure: "What grace 🔥😍," one said. Another put their sentiments simply: "😂😂😂😂👏👏."
Wondering how this Modern Family alum strengthened her abs and legs?
Well, no surprise here, but she's dedicated to her workouts and does something active five to seven days a week for at least an hour, when her schedule allows, her trainer told Marie Claire.

However, when she's busy or tired, she makes sure to give her body a break. "You have to let your body rest, even if you're working out a few days during the week," her trainer Jennifer Yates from Studio Metamorphosis described, "That's why we rotate with Sofia. We have days in between when she rests. If you exhaust the muscles, you're more prone to getting injured," Jennifer told Marie Claire.

Instead, she'd much rather walk on the treadmill at a high incline to build her butt and leg muscles. Sometimes she'll jump on the bike to spin, but walking is her go-t0, Jennifer said. Well, that explains her athletic physique in this beach pic.
Another personal fav of Sofia's is the Lagree Method, a Pilates-inspired workout that uses a machine with a sliding platform and cables called a Megaformer, Jennifer told Shape. “Sofia likes the Lagree Method because she sees results quickly, and it’s easy on her joints while still being high-intensity,” Jennifer said. The workout focuses on increasing strength, flexibility, and balance.
She also uses weights and kettlebells when working out in her home gym, according to Shape.
Keeping her diet balanced helps her to enjoy all her favorite foods while still feeling and looking as healthy as possible. Sofia eats a lot of veggies, lean proteins, and whole grains, all while keeping her portions under control, according to PopSugar.
“When I do indulge, I exercise a bit harder the next day. My workout motto is really simple: No pain, no cake!” Sofia told People.
