Sofia Richie Revealed Her Go-To Sunscreen Right Now

From the looks of her Instagram, Sofia Richie spends a fair amount of time in the sun, which makes sense considering she lives in Southern California. The model's grid is littered with stunning sunlit selfies and beach photos galore, as well as the odd poolside pic every now and then. But despite her obvious love for the sunshine, Richie doesn't mess around when it comes to protecting her skin. She proved this over the weekend in a new post highlighting a few of her everyday essentials, and it features a straw bucket hat, along with sunscreen by EltaMD.
For those who may not know, EltaMD makes a wide variety of sunscreens beloved by experts and editors alike, but the specific one Richie uses is the UV Sport Broad-Spectrum SPF 50 Full-Body Sunscreen, which is formulated with transparent zinc oxide to protect against UVA and UVB rays, antioxidant-rich vitamin E to fight free radicals, and castor oil to keep the skin moisturized.
This is an excellent SPF option for anyone who's active or sweats a lot because it's water-resistant, non-greasy, and lasts really well on the skin (yes, you do still need to reapply after two hours). It's also ideal because it's safe for all skin types — even super sensitive — and works for the entire body, and the face.
It's great to see that Richie is using EltaMD, as the skin-care brand makes some of the most highly lauded SPFs out there, including the UV Clear Broad-Spectrum 46, which countless dermatologists use in their own skin-care routines.
