The princess of quiet luxury, Sofia Richie-Grange, is back with another endlessly perfect, but incredibly simple look – one we're excited to try out.
It was Sofia's pre-wedding fits and routines that started picking up traction to make her the poster girl for the 'quiet luxury' aesthetic trend, and then her super chic wedding that broke the internet. This time, Sofia is taking a hairstyle we've all been wearing since primary school and making it an effortlessly stylish yet casual summer style.
She posted these snaps to her Instagram, which show her chilling at home with her dog and sporting the style. Her long blonde tressed are divided in a soft part following up from below the ear and pulled up into a high pony in the top section, with the lower section falling down her back. She's made the style we're most likely to associate with primary schoolers look like the classiest thing.
Ofc, it's elevated beyond the playground look – Sofia brings the upper section almost right round her head, almost like a full ponytail, rather than dividing the side of the head. It's a perfect way to keep your hair out of your face in the hot weather, while still wearing it long. Cool *and* cool, if you will.
Naturally, she wore it with an equally gorge quiet luxe outfit: a retro pea-green knitted tank top and washed denim wide leg jeans. She completed the look with footwear of the moment – the neat little ballet pump, like all the cool fashion babes are wearing, while us wide-footed huns look on nervously. The pop of black with the ballet flat offers a point of difference in the soft outfit, leaning into TikTok's 'wrong shoe theory', which is pretty much what it says on the tin.
I never thought I'd be praising half ponies and dolly shoes but here we are, making 2023 more 2006.
