Sofía Vergara Apparently Felt "Stifled" in a Relationship With an "Unsupportive Partner"
Welp. Sounds like Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello's relationship isn't exactly ending on the best of terms. At least not according to an insider who revealed that Sofía has been "stifled" in the relationship" and that Joe was "unsupportive" as a partner.
“Sofía's living her best life. She’s spending time with her friends after being stifled in a relationship with a largely unsupportive partner," a source tells Page Six. “Sofía was always there to take care of Joe, while his career was never what it was when they met. I think he’s been threatened by her success and joie de vivre.”
A friend of the couple also tells the outlet that their relationship had a lot of “physical chemistry, though also a lot of loyalty and respect. Neither of them cheated. They very much did their own thing for large stretches of time and were frequently apart, but they were always able to still feel that passion for each other when they saw each other, but that flame has now gone out."
Apparently Sofía is doing "absolutely fine" and "has all the time and the money in the world to do whatever she wants next" amid the breakup, while "Joe seems a little more dejected but also resolute in knowing this was the right way to go." Meanwhile, mutual friends of the former couple think he'll "ultimately move on to someone far younger and will start a family"—which comes amid another source saying "Joe is ready to date, ready to move on, ready to have fun again and fall in love with someone."
