Woman Finds Scammer on Twitter Using Her Hot Body to Catfish

Social media influencer Jessica Hunt’s body is being used in a catfishing scheme — and she’s angry about it…sort of.

The British beauty with 80,000 Instagram followers is known for showing off stunning dresses, her gorgeous bod, and her epic long blonde hair on social media, and someone else is taking advantage of that.

On Sunday, Hunt discovered that a stranger digitally edited their face onto an image of her in a sparkly green dress in her kitchen. In the original image, which Hunt shared on Instagram five weeks ago, she’s wearing an emerald green tight sparkly knee-length dress with long sleeves, a plunging neckline, and a cutout that revealed her toned upper abs.

She posed smiling with one hand on her hip and her hair falling loosely over one shoulder. In the doctored image, everything is the same except the face. In the new image, someone plastered his or her face over Hunt’s. And the Photoshop job is seamless; there is no indication that it is a manipulated image.

@verityanneclothing have done it again!???? I absolutely loved this dress last night ❤️✨

And while Hunt was definitely freaked out by the Single White Female-esque act, she was also amused by it and impressed by the person’s digital manipulation skills. “OH MY GOD that is my body and my house but who’s face is that!?!? catfish game is getting silly ,” she wrote when she shared the altered image, clearly finding some humor in the desperate act. And when a follower pointed out how impressive the editing was, Hunt agreed, saying, “it’s literally art.” So, clearly, she’s not that pissed; you know what they say, catfishing is the sincerest form of flattery…right?

And the brand that designed it, Verity Anne, isn’t that mad, either. They retweeted Hunt saying that they’ve been seeing the image everywhere. The dress is their Sparkly Portia design, which can be worn three ways: with the cutout, with a deeper V and no cutout, or with a higher neckline and no cutout. It costs about $52.

It’s unclear who is responsible for the doctored image and why they did it — although it’s pretty obvious, who wouldn’t want Hunt’s gorgeous body and hair (her kitchen is pretty nice, too)?
