Social Light: Vanity Fair x Royal Salute

Last night Katie Nicholl, VF's Royal Correspondent, hosted an intimate dinner to celebrate the enchanting new world of Royal Salute, the King of Whisky. Malcolm Borwick, Sian Clifford and Ella Eyre were amongst guests who enjoyed raising a glass–or several–in the jewel-accented room at Blakes Hotel. Each of the three courses (featuring salmon tartare, rack of lamb and Sicilian lemon tart) was accompanied by a specially-selected whisky flight, and Master Blender Sandy Hyslop introduced each serve. The real treat came after dinner, with three of Royal Salute’s most famous serves: The Sussex, The Buckingham and The Cambridge. Nightcaps continued late into the night before guests were whisked away in luxury cars by Wheely.
