Social Light: Vanity Fair On Art in association with Christie’s

This week, Frieze returns to the capital—and only one soirée is suave enough to mark this highlight in the cultural calendar. Vanity Fair and Christie’s hosted their annual party on Wednesday, marking the launch of the house’s Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Auction and the publication of this year's issue of Vanity Fair On Art, The Portraiture Issue. The Taittinger flowed as DJ Henri provided the soundtrack to magnificent works from the likes of Basquiat, Lichtenstein and Hirst. Bringing the art off the wall, Pandemonia—the the seven-foot, ageless, post-Pop art latex characterisation who stars in this year's issue of On Art—delighted guests by making an appearance.
