Soap Opera Star Kristen Alderson Engaged to Taylor Crousore

Kristen Alderson is set to walk down the aisle soon!
The soap opera actress, who starred in both One Life to Live and General Hospital, is officially engaged to her partner of two years, actor and comedian Taylor Crousore.
Alderson announced the big news on social media, writing alongside beautiful engagement photos, "✨❤️We’re ENGAGED!!!❤️✨On Saturday July 15th, 2023 (MY NEW “BEST DAY EVER”🙌), Taylor took me to the place we had our first date & asked me to MARRY HIM!"
The proposal took place at Pier 84 at Hudson River Park, with the Circle Line Ferry visible in the background of some of the photos. During the proposal, Alderson wore a black-and-white dress covered in a heart pattern, while Crousore wore gray slacks and a short-sleeved dark blue button-up shirt as he got down on one knee.

"Two years ago on July 18th 2021, Taylor and I met up for the first time ON THIS PIER after falling for each other virtually for a month 1/2 prior," continued Alderson in the caption, describing how the two fell in love as they exchanged "800+ videos" before meeting in person.
While there was a lot of anticipation about their first meeting and whether or not their connection would translate in person, Alderson noted, "Lucky for us, after sharing our first kiss on that pier, we knew were a match. What I didn’t know was just how incredible the next two years would be with him."
The 32-year-old went on to praise her new fiancé, writing, "you are everything I ever dreamed of and more! I feel like I’ve been with you for a lifetime, & almost can’t remember life before you."
As for the proposal itself, the soap opera star proclaimed that "It was PERFECT😭 The night was filled with surprises, family, friends, romance, & so much LOVE❤️😭," before adding, "I’ve never cried so many happy tears in one night🙌."

Crousore shared the engagement news on his Instagram account as well, writing to his soon-to-be-wife, "Kristen, There is no one else I could ever even imagine spending forever with. Your love, kindness, optimism, strength, goofiness and passion make me want to be a better person every day."
Many of Alderson's fans, friends and former co-stars commented to congratulate the couple on the exciting news.
Brittany Underwood, who also starred in One Life to Live, wrote, "I could not be any freaking happier that my bestie is gonna marry someone who is beyond perfect for her and is going to take care of her in the best way possible...Love you both so much. Cannot wait for this wedding!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰."
Chrishell Stause, who many know from Selling Sunset but is also a soap opera actress, replied, "Awww this is so sweet and so cute!!! Congrats beautiful!!!! Pics are so good!!"

Alderson and Crousore have not shared any details about their upcoming nuptials yet, but the bride-to-be often posts updates from their life on social media and will likely bring fans along for the journey!
