Snowboarder Tackles Never-Ending Box Feature

Here's a recipe for a good time: spring snow conditions and a large amount of slidable boxes, all placed in a neat row.

Not sure where this is going? Watch this video of a snowboarder sliding an impressive park feature called "Boxzilla."

"Boxzilla," indeed. This thing's a honker.

While I'm not much of a park skier, I'd love to jump on "Boxzilla," even if I just rode it facing forwards.

I'd also like to see a skier with serious rail chops (not me) take on "Boxzilla." Imagine how many swaps and spins a seasoned rail skier could pull off on this enormous feature.

My dream pick to watch slide "Boxzilla" would 100% be Siver Voll. Voll's a Norwegian pro known for his rail skiing prowess. He could probably swap "Boxzilla" 30 times, at least.

Crazy features like "Boxzilla" are classic spring skiing fixtures. They provide park crews an opportunity to flex their creative muscles and give skiers a unique backdrop in which to try mind-boggling tricks.

I like "Boxzilla" in particular because it's accessible. Intermediate skiers and above can straight slide boxes, meaning a large portion of the skiing community have the skills necessary to try "Boxzilla," making the feature an excellent gateway to park skiing.

I love that. Park skiing doesn't always need to be enormous jumps and imposing rails. Wacky, low-consequence features deserve love, too.
